Y
outh football team has got 'em licked!

A once ailing youth football team is now hoping for sweet success after gaining sponsorship from Sela. Yardley based under 15s team Village Colts, who play in the Central Warwickshire League, has changed its name to Sela FC as a result of the sponsorship. Sela has also organised a brand new team strip in Sela's company colours, yellow and red, complete with the Sela-Cough logo emblazoned across the chest. We have also organised for coaching with Swansea and ex Coventry City player John Williams in order to improve their football skills. John Wilson, Operations Director, commented "The youth team was brought to our attention by someone we deal with in the business. We heard it had fallen into financial difficulties, had lost some of its best players and was in danger of folding, so we decided to help out." Team Manager, Gary Langford said: "I've been with the lads since they were 10 year olds. Without the kind generosity of Sela they probably would
not have been playing football this season". The season got off to a sweet
start for Sela FC, as they won their first match 4-3! Pictured are Sela FC's Chris Langford aged 14 and Scott Curry, also 14, with Sela's John Wilson, age a secret but quite a few times more than 14!!
