Sampling for Success

Our own research has indicated how
critical sampling is to the success of Sela-Cough®, as once they
experience for themselves the unique combination of high
effectiveness and pleasant taste, they usually go on to become
regular consumers. With this in mind, we are planning a major
sampling campaign for Sela-Cough® starting this Autumn,
involving the distribution of over 250,000 free packets of
Sela-Cough® to the general public at strategic locations. One
very effective way of distributing a large number of samples to
the public is via local newspapers, a method the company has
already used to great effect in its own native West Midlands,
where this February over 10,000 packets of Sela-Cough® were
distributed free with purchases of the region's biggest evening
newspaper, The Express and Star. The success of this initiative
in increasing the local customer base for Sela-Cough® has
convinced the company to extend this program to other regional
newspapers, and this will form the backbone of the company's
sampling campaign this Autumn and Winter.
