Traditional
Jars
At Sela, we make a vast range of sweets,
over 70 varieties in total, both wrapped and unwrapped, all of
which are available in our weigh-out traditional jars - the kind
that you see in traditional sweet shops and newsagents. In fact,
we think that our jar range must be the most comprehensive
available in the UK today. Our range of flavours is very
diverse, from Menthol to Mint, Pear to Peach or Aniseed to
Apple! Our choice is so wide, that we are bound to offer
everyone’s favourite flavour. |

Sela has, of
course, developed a reputation for certain lines, some of which have
become synonymous with the brand name, such as Pineapple Rock, Dads
Herbals, Troach, Fizzy Fish and Dairy Butter Mints. . The most
recent addition to the range is actually one of our oldest recipes!

Pre-Packs
In recognition of the needs of
more modern convenience retailing, we have made a selection
of our best selling lines available in pre-packs. In so
doing, we have been careful to emphasise in the design
of our bags the tradition and quality of the products.
In fact, this is to be further enhanced with the launch
of a redesigned bag in late 2001. |

Customised
Sweets
If there is one thing that our
traditional batch production methods have as an advantage
over modern, automated methods, apart from quality of
course, it is FLEXIBILITY. In theory, we can change the
flavour, colour scheme, stripe format and shape of every
batch of sweets that we make! This enables us to offer
a customised sweets service, where you can chose a sweet
to match your specific requirements. And all this without
committing to huge minimum runs - our batch size is only
32-35kg (70-77lb). |

We can
also arrange customised wrappers, but this would be subject to
much larger minimum runs. If your requirement is big enough to
justify a new sweet die (i.e. mould) purchase, we could even
make sweets to your specific shape requirements! So, go on,
invent yourself a sweet, and we’ll make it! Typical uses for
customised sweets have included corporate promotions
(exhibitions, customer gifts etc.), in-house incentives (service
awards etc.), media promotions (TV/Radio prizes etc.) and
merchandising (football clubs etc.). Take a look at our

Children's Novelty Sweet

Our best Candy
Craftsmen have designed this range of products to excite and
amaze the taste buds of the younger (or even older!) generation!
From Deadly Dye Bombs, which “tongue-dye” the victim, through to
Frenzied Foamers, which fill your mouth with fruity foam when
crunched, this range is sure to appeal to those with strong
taste buds and a sense of humour! And the range is still
developing - soon to be launched are HOT HEADS, with their
“fiery” outside, and SHERBET ZINGERS, with their amazingly sour
sherbet centres.
All of these lines are now available in both weigh-out
(2.8kg jars) and countline (120 piece) jar format. |
